Protective overshoes Gaiters that strap over steel toe cap boots, providing a further cut resistant multi layer of chain clogging fabric, tested to provide Class 1 protection. Manufactured to EN381-9. Gaiters are designed for use by occasional operators when there is no risk of tripping. One size fits all. Protective gaiters are designed to strap over existing safety boots, they provide a cut resistant layer over the top of the boot eliminating the risk of injury. The top is made up from layers of material, similar to chainsaw trousers, should the chain cut into the gaiter, the string type layers are pulled up into the sprocket that drives the chain, within seconds the chain is stopped with no injury to the operator.
