The Makita PTR2500 long reach pole hedge trimmer is ideal for cutting and trimming hedge rows in the garden or in commercial applications. Professionals and private users can enjoy the comfort and power that this hedge trimmer delivers.

The PTR2500 features a 22" (56cm) double sided cutting blade that angles through from 0° to 135° and powerful 24.5cc 2-Stroke engine. The machine measures a total of 2408mm, or excluding the cutting head, from the back of the engine (at the pull cord end) to the tip of the shaft it measures 1800mm, the shaft, along with the comfortable loop handle, also features a soft padded grip, for optimum working comfort and less vibration.

Starting this hedge trimmer is also a pleasure, with the aid of the fuel primer, the PTR2500 starts with almost no effort, and the fuel tank is well positioned for filling, and holds up to 0.65 litres of 50:1 fuel mixture, giving maximum use per fill. The same engine and drive unit as the RBC2510 Multi-Use Grass Trimmer.

Good bit of kit This was my second purchase for the ptr2500, first was stolen but I purchased the same trimmer again, I own a lot of machinery and this starts easy and cuts well. Pros. Easy starting, adjustable longer blades than most, quiet for a 2 stroke. Cons. Blades dont fold back to shaft. Brian -
