Makita 4 Function Impact Driver: The Makita BTP140Z is an 18v 4 Mode Combi/Impact drill: 4 Operation Modes for the ultimate versatility - Drill (2 speed), Screwdriver Percussion-drill, Impact driver. One touch mode selection. Selectable 2 speed (drill mode only). Compact design with an overall length of 186mm, ergonomically designed compact and lightweight.

The 4-Mode Combi has four different states that can be switched between by a simple slide-switch on top of the tool body. A two-speed drilling mode that can function from 0-700rpm and 0-2,300rpm. The drilling mode can produce 140Nm of torque generated by the 18v model.

A screwdriver is available with the use of 16 torque settings that can be adjusted by a fingertip control ring at the front of the motor body. The impact mode can produce 0-3,200bpm to firmly insert a bolt, nut or screw. In percussion mode 0-27,600bpm (14.4v) or 0-28,800bpm (18v) can be achieved which enables effortless labour on masonry and masonry derived products.

Makita has designed the 4-Mode Combi paying close attention to ergonomics. This effort has created a unit that will fit well to the shape of the user’s hand providing comfort and enabling the operator to firmly grip the tool so it can function to the best of its capability whilst minimising hand stress.
