The SH86 is the top model handheld garden blower and shredder vac, the dual purpose garden blower is fitted with a special metal rotor blade for enhanced shredding. Standard equipment includes: vacuum tube, vacuum bag, blower tube, round and flat nozzle. The vacuum shredders from STIHL pick up immense volumes of fallen leaves, cut grass and trimmings and simultaneously shred them. Reduced to less than 10% of the original volume, the organic material can be used directly for composting or mulching.

The SH86 has been designed for use over longer periods with improved operator features including a re-designed anti-vibration system keeping the engine movement separate from the operator by using improved mounts, a simplified starting system and lower emissions. The soft grip handle has all the required controls including the throttle lock feature for keeping a constant engine speed without the need to keep the trigger depressed by hand, the throttle lock also has and engine stop function.

The STIHL vacuum shredders SH 56 and the SH 86 ranges have a robust rotor blade of special steel as a standard feature to shred the collected material. They can be converted to blowers without difficulty using the blower tubes included in the product range. The fallen leaves are guided through the fan as they are picked up and shredded in the process. In ideal cases, the contents can be directly applied to borders as mulch. In Stock.
