The RBC421L 2 stroke 40.2cc professional machine has the latest vibration reducing system and the handle bar vibration ratings are spectacularly low. Tested in accordance to IS0 standard 7914 at WOT (wide-open throttle) the right front hand handle has just 1.9ms2 whilst the left rearward handle is even lower at 1.4ms2. Both are well below the 2.5ms2 rating which permits all day use.

Many manufacturers quote tick-over vibration rating which can be considered worthless as the machine is never in use at tick-over speed. The WOT vibration rating is the level of vibration likely to cause risk to municipal staff workers or professional landscape maintenance contractors.
