Features:

A brand new full size self propelled petrol lawnmower. The PLM4811 is a major step forward in grass cutting, with design features that work well with both the machine and the operator.

The PLM4811, features a 48cm cut with rotary action, height adjustment from 30 to 80mm in 6 separate settings, bearing mounted wheels on a lightweight but very strong aluminium deck. The powerful 6Hp Briggs and Stratton 4 stroke engine with Ready Start ensures that this mower is able to tackle the most demanding home and semi professional grass cutting tasks. Greater operator comfort is achieved with the ErgoMow® Handle, this allows for use over longer periods of time, with less user fatigue.

The PLM4811 is also capable of mulching (requires accessory mulch plug) the grass, into very small sections, and re-applying it to the freshly cut lawn, this helps thicken and feed the grass and is best used when the lawn is cut regularly.

Safety features also include, as with all Makita mowers the Engine Brake Lever, this is held by the user on the handles when the mower is in use, as soon as the handles are released the lever drops and the engine cuts out, this ensures that the mower is safe when unattended. The PLM4811 also boasts vibration levels of 11 m/sec2. List Price £799.00 Inc Vat.

Makita Mulch Plug for PLM4811 & 4814

This accessory replaces the grass collection box, blocking the rear chute forcing the cut grass back into the blades for re-shredding, the fine grass is then left on the cut lawn. When keeping your grass cut regularly, mulching is recommended as it will help feed & thicken your grass.
