A powerful fully professional chainsaw fitted with a 50cc 2 stroke engine and 45cm bar and chain. The DCS5031 from Makita is also used by the British Army and is The Royal Engineers' Chain Saw of choice, this utility saw boasts extremely low vibration to the operator ensuring that you can work with the machine over long periods without fatigue (Tri Axial 4.7m/sec).

Firing this 50cc chainsaw has been made even easier thanks to the maintenance free electronic-ignition system further advancing today's chainsaw technology, the saw also has a de-compressor further easing the effort required to crank the engine, the saw also has a two stage air filtration design with pre-filter and main filter, maintaining smooth engine running throughout it's vast power range.

The design aspect of this saw has been well considered with the whole unit being easy to maintain, the on/off choke is built into a combination switch with an automatic half throttle lock. The DCS5031 is a truly outstanding chainsaw suitable for all aspects of tree felling and logging, with top performance and reliability in the most demanding of tasks.
