The BCX3400 is a 33.5cc 4-stroke brushcutter, boasting very low vibration and emission levels. Fitted with cow horn style handles, this machine is more comfortable to use with greater flexability when trimming large areas, the cluster controls are all located on the right handle. Lower fuel consumption means cheaper running costs with no fuel mixing required, this allows for less risk of damage through misuse.
Being a 4 stroke the BCX3400 also gives advantages over 2 stroke, as well as envoronmental issues, it can be used at lower revs when more control is required, without damaging the engine, prolonged low rev use on a 2 stroke engine would cause problems over time, including starting issues. Less frequent servicing is required with 4 stroke, although the oil level should be checked before each use.
