In the unlikely event of 'kick back' all echo chainsaws are fitted with an inertia type automatic chain brake, this ensures that the chain stops instantly every time.
The CS-280WES chainsaw is also fitted with anti vibration mounts, the top operator handle, and engine are both mounted on shock absorbers, this technology greatly reduces both vibration and operator fatigue, all this coupled with an ergonomic, comfortable design makes the CS-280WES chainsaw a pleasure to use.
All Echo chainsaws have a side access chain tensioner, this enables the operator to adjust the chain quickly and accurately, from the side body of the saw. The automatic chain oiling feature on all echo chainsaws, have an adjustment option so that more, or less oil can be fed to the chain depending on the density and hardness of the timber, this versatility allows for much smoother cutting in all applications.
