Duro Diamond Core Drill Range for Porcelain & Tiles.
The age of plain white tiles has long gone, ceramic and porcelain are now very much a part of everyone's home, but it is only now that we can provide an affordable option, for drilling both fixing and piping holes through such hard material, thanks to Duro.
In any one standard Bathroom, up to 24 holes may be required, not just for fixing the units, but also for radiators, towel rails, soap dishes the list goes on..
Over the past few years Duro have been looking at this closely, and now with today's technology have found the answer, a good performance, fast cutting tile drill at a price that we can all afford, coupled with simple operation, this is a definite winner.
The Diamond Tipped Core drills are available separately, so that you can pick the sizes relevant to you, or if you can buy a set containing the most common hole size requirements. The bits are available in size options 5 to 35mm.
The system is very simple to use, and you can drill a hole in a hard tile in 7 seconds, try that with a standard drill bit!. The bit requires water simply use a spray bottle or a wet rag to keep the drill bit wet at all times. The design of the core bit is such, that the spiral below the diamond segment pulls the water into the cut, keeping the bit cool.
If you are unable to use a spray bottle, don't panic, use a wet cloth: wipe the cloth over the surface that you are going to drill, making it wet, start drilling, as soon as you see dry dust from the tile, stop drilling, remove the bit and wipe the wet cloth over the section, you can then start drilling again, repeat this process until your hole is done!
