The DURO BASE 3 piece core kit is supplied in a durable aluminium case with moulded foam liner to protect your drills when not in use & a shoulder carry strap for easy transportation. DURO BASE core drills utilise high temperature brazing techniques attaching the segments securely to a castellated high tensile steel core. Benefiting from high concentrations of large synthetic diamond grits, these drills perform well above the industry standard for this level of drill with good life times and free cutting characteristics.

Designed to to cut most medium-hard to soft masonry materials such as Hard York Stone, General House Bricks, Lightweight Concrete Blocks & Breeze Block. This core set really does provide universal use in the construction industry, giving exceptional cutting in almost all applications. For harder materials such as Concrete & Class B Engineering bricks you should consider the higher specification DURO PLUS core drills.
Duro 9 piece Core Kit Contains:

• 3 x Diamond core drills (42mm, 52mm & 117mm)
• 1 x Chuck Adaptor
• 1 x SDS Adaptor
• 1 x Drift key
• 1 x Guide Rod
• 1 x SDS Extension 250mm
• 1 x 350mm Long Masonry Bit
• Pilot drill the wall first with a 13mm masonary drill.
• Follow through with required size core drill
• Use 850 watt (min) drill fitted with clutch and variable speed.
• Hammer action must never be used when drilling with diamond core drills.
• Use machine between 900-1300rpm, the harder the brick and larger diameter of the core drill the lower rpm speed should be.
• Make sure the chuck is tight.
• Clear swarf at regular intervals, as a build up will cause the core bit to over heat, extensive clutch wear and possible loss of diamond segments.
• Rotate core bit when entering and leaving a hole.
• Keep machine level.
• Never force the diamond bit, let it do the work, this will ensure long life and reduce the chance of breakage.
• If the bit starts to vibrate, reduce pressure.
