The DeWalt DWS520K Plunge Saw

The DWS520K is a completely new concept in plunge saw technology, with ultimate operator comfort and total job control. The high torque 1300 Watt motor combined with a 40 tooth blade delivers both powerful and accurate cuts, the fixed rail adjusters increase the accuracy further by reducing deflection during each cut.

The DWS520K has a patented parallel plunge system,
this allows users to maintain a smooth and consistent
hand position whilst keeping the initial cut
directly above, this system allows
you to cut internal sections with little
clean up required.

The DWS520K features a very clever guard
that can give 90% dust extraction capability
and is mounted to allow the trimming of doors
etc. when space is at it's tightest.

The DWS520K plunge system has been patented by DeWalt for years, but only now has the motor technology been available to achieve it's true potential.

The direct plunge system effortlessly slides the blade directly down into the work piece exactly where you need the cut to start and stop.

By setting the saw on a 45º angle and the blade depth to the thickness of the board, the DWS520 can cut out a section of floor for access, with no risk of cutting through pipes or cables, the removed piece can then be put back in place with a near perfect fit - try that with a jigsaw!

A powerful plunge saw for ultimate control and versatility. Available in 110v and 240v the DWS520K comes supplied with a 40 tooth blade, the flush fitting guard enables the saw to be used for door trimming and the anti-kickback function stops the saw from moving backwards along the rail.

The DWS520K was designed for use across almost every aspect of construction, it can bevel to produce cuts up to 59mm at 90 degrees (55mm with the guide rail) the saw can provide clean crisp cuts through wood and laminate, and with the use of guide rails can help you work with maximum control, comfort and accuracy .
